Once your restaurant’s set up on Dojo Bookings, customers will be able to book directly through your website, Reserve with Google and anywhere else you’ve shared your booking link.
You can also still manually create bookings:
First, log in to your Dojo Bookings account.
- From the Parties list, Table plan or Planner, click Add a party in the top-right corner.
A new side-menu will open. - Select the Booking tab
- If you have set up an experience choose either a Standard booking or Experience
- Enter a Party size using the + or - arrows or by typing.
- Select a date and time. Once the date of the booking is entered, you will now automatically see all bookable time slots for that date.
This removes the need to scroll through a long list and you can also see collapsable sections which highlight 'Bookings accepted' and 'Bookings not accepted' as per your restaurant's booking settings for easier navigation.
- You can also manually adjust the Seating duration using the + or - arrows.
As you adjust this duration, in your planner view, you will see any changes instantly reflected as a placeholder booking.
-
After these details are entered you will see that a Table will be auto-allocated. Click on the table to manually amend this. You can also add multiple tables to accommodate larger groups.
- If you have enabled booking policies, you can choose a Policy e.g. deposit/card on file to apply for this booking using the drop down.
-
Using the Guest search bar, you can search for the guest's name, email or phone number.
Click the relevant guest profile below to select it.
If that guest does not already exist, you also have the option to create a new guest.
Click the Create new guest button to create a new guest profile and enter in the guests details, these include:
- Name (Mandatory)
- Phone Number (Mandatory)
- Email (Optional)
- Guest notes (Optional)
Click Save to create the guest profile and continue with adding the party.
Please note: Any booking manually created going forward will need to have a guest profile linked. Learn more about managing guest profiles here - Finally, add any Comments that are relevant to that booking if necessary.
- When you’re finished, click Create booking.
The booking contact will then receive confirmation of their booking, and the booking will appear on your Parties list, Table plan and Planner.
