Spice up your marketing with two new tools you can use to track and measure your marketing campaigns, and grow your customer base.
- Booking Tracking: Generate tracking URLs you can embed on any digital channel, and easily track how effective they are.
- Marketing opt-in widget: Embed a simple opt-in form on any of your channels making it easier for you to gather customer information and grow your marketing list.
When it comes to measuring your digital marketing return on investment (ROI), it can be challenging to get the whole story. While it’s easy to measure vanity metrics, such as impressions and clicks, it’s hard to attribute the success of these back to the actual bookings coming into your restaurant.
Introducing Dojo Booking's Marketing Tracking Feature. Using this feature, you can generate URLs with tracking parameters, which allow you to measure your booking traffic from all of your digital marketing channels and campaigns.

Where do I find the Marketing Tracking Feature?
Log into your Dojo Bookings RMS.
Navigate to the Marketing tab in the left hand side panel.
Creating URLs with Tracking Parameters
In your RMS account, navigate to the Marketing tab.
To start creating your first campaign, click the Create a campaign button.
A campaign is a grouping system to keep similar tracking links together and reporting in one single view.
Campaigns are useful for two instances:
1) Track where your bookings are coming from and how they are converting into covers
We recommend creating a Campaign to track bookings through all of the general channels that you use that a user can make a booking through.
This could include tracking all bookings coming through your ‘Book a Table’ link on your website, your Instagram profile bio, your default Emails or SMS messages sent to prospects.
2) Track the performance of promotional campaigns
You can also create separate campaigns to track any other specific promotional campaigns you may be running. This could include seasonal promotions such as unique Christmas bookings links or Mother’s Day experiences.
A pop-up box will appear for you to now give your Campaign a Name and optionally you can add in a Description in the notes section to add more internal context.
Click the Create a campaign button when ready.
Once you’ve created your campaign, you can then start setting up your first booking tracker link.
Choose your first channel to label your booking link from the list or click other to create a bespoke channel and add a channel name.
Click Next.
This will then generate unique links that are unique for that channel showing links for:
- Booking Link
- Enquiries Link
- Experiences Link
Use the Copy link button you’d like to use to copy that link and replace this on your relevant channel.
For example: To start tracking bookings through the ‘Book a Table’ button on your website, simply copy the Booking link generated here and replace this link for the button link in your website’s code.
To start tracking promotional bookings through a Facebook campaign, simply follow copy the Experiences link and paste this instead on your Facebook campaign or bio.

Once, you’ve set up all of your tracking links, you can start to see data on how these perform.
