How to review pre-authorised payments
Pre-authorised payment links are marked ‘uncollected’ in your payment links list.
They are also marked with a clock symbol in your transactions list.
How to collect or release pre-authorised payments
Click a payment link marked ‘uncollected’ in the payment links list, then select either ‘Collect’ or ‘Release:’
-
Click ‘Collect’ to complete the sale and you will be credited the transaction amount.
Note: You may collect less than the full amount of the transaction by editing the collection amount. If you do so, you will not be able to collect the outstanding amount at a later date.
- ‘Release’ returns the transaction amount to your customer
Note: You must collect the funds within 7 days of the payment being authorised. After 7 days, the funds will be automatically released to your customer and can no longer be collected.
