An invoice for each of your business locations is emailed directly to the account owner every month and all your invoices can be viewed at any time in your Dojo account.

How to view your invoice
Log into Dojo at account.dojo.tech. Click ‘Account’ in the sidebar and select ‘Billing’ to see a list of your invoices. Click each line to see details of that invoice and download a PDF version.
- Invoices are recorded in chronological order
- Invoices for all of your business’s locations are recorded together. The ‘Location number’ field records which location the invoice is for, and the location name is recorded on the invoice itself

Summary page
The front page of your invoice summarises your overall charges in your invoice period for:
- Card transactions
- Card machine services
- Account services
- Chargebacks (if any)
These are presented as a total with any VAT applied to your totals.

Card transaction rates
Transaction rates vary depending on the type of card used, and you can find specific rates within your Dojo agreement.

Refund fee
Applied each time you attempt to process a refund to a cardholder.
Secure Transaction fee
The Secure Transaction fee covers the enhanced protection Dojo offers your business, and helps bolster payment security with added safety measures every time you process a transaction:
- Our best-in-class fraud detection algorithm reduces fraud losses by an average of 45%
- Point-to-point encryption as standard for in-person payment provide significantly reduced financial exposure from a data breach
- Super-simple PCI compliance tools save you time reporting PCI compliance
The Secure Transaction fee incurs 20% VAT. So, if you’re VAT registered, this fee may be tax deductible. Speak to your accountant for more information.
Card transaction rates breakdown
Each transaction you process (including refunds) incurs a fee that varies depending on the type of card and card scheme used.
These are detailed in this section.

Minimum Monthly Payment (MMP)
There is a minimum monthly payment (MMP) you’ll need to pay for your Dojo service, even if you don’t take any card payments. If your monthly transaction rates are higher than this amount you will not pay the MMP. Refer to your Dojo agreement for more details on your MMP.

Non-qualifying transactions
These carry an additional charge as these are considered less secure than qualifying transactions. All chip and PIN, contactless and swiped transactions submitted for processing within two business days of the authorisation are considered qualifying transactions.
Non-qualifying transactions are: - Manually keyed transactions
- Card not present (CNP)
- All transactions submitted for processing more than two business days after the authorisation.

Remote
Remote payments are transactions that are not processed from a physical card machine.

EEA & International
Additional charges apply for cards issued outside of Ireland: - Europe EEA: The card is issued outside Ireland but within the European Economic Area (EEA)
- Europe Non-EEA: The card is issued in Europe but outside the EEA
- International: The card is issued outside Europe
Card machine services
You’re charged for each card machine you have with us. This gives you access to technical support, troubleshooting and next-day card machine replacement.
Mobile connectivity is included free of charge so your card machine can connect to 4G if your Wi-Fi connection goes down.

PCI management
We may charge for ongoing security and fraud protection which eases your PCI requirements

Chargeback management
If a cardholder raises a chargeback against your business, the transaction amount will be deducted from your next invoice, along with a chargeback management fee. This covers the cost of managing your case with the cardholder’s Issuing Bank.
