Printing a bill
You can print a bill straight from your card machine. Just select the table number, and it’ll show the total bill amount. Hit ‘Print bill’.
Taking payment
When your customer is ready to pay the bill, there are different options for how they can do this.
Paying the bill in full
- Hit ‘Settle table’
- Open up the relevant table number
- Hit ‘Proceed to payment’, and choose ‘Pay in full’
- If you have gratuity enabled, the customer can add a tip amount at the next screen
- The payment screen will then appear, for the customer to tap or insert their card
Splitting the bill equally
- Hit ‘Settle table’
- Open up the relevant table number
- Hit ‘Proceed to payment’, and choose ‘Equal split’
- Enter the number to split the bill between, and ‘Confirm’
- If you have gratuity enabled, the customer can add a tip amount at the next screen
- The payment screen will then appear, for the customer to tap or insert their card
- You’ll see a summary page that shows the outstanding balance
- Tap ‘Next payment’
- Once you’ve taken all the payments, the summary page will show that the bill has been paid in full
Splitting the bill by custom amount
- Hit ‘Settle table’
- Open up the relevant table number
- Hit ‘Proceed to payment’, and choose ‘Custom split’
- Type in the amount to pay and ‘Confirm’
- If you have gratuity enabled, the customer can add a tip amount at the next screen
- The payment screen will then appear, for the customer to tap or insert their card
- You’ll see a summary page that shows the outstanding balance
- Tap ‘Next payment’
- Once you’ve taken all the payments, the summary page will show that the bill has been paid in full
Processing refunds
If you have Pay at Table, you’ll need to manually process refunds from your card machine. To do this, click the menu bar, select ‘Refund’ and follow the steps on-screen.
