Get a high-level view of your business with reports covering sales and transactions over a daily, weekly, or monthly period - helping you to identify performance trends or opportunities using data that refreshes every day.
In your Dojo account, select ‘Insights’ from the Account menu. On the Dojo for business app, tap 'Tools' in the navigation bar and select 'Insights.'
This article explains each of the different reports in the insights dashboard:

Sales
The net value of approved sales for your specified locations and time period. This is the total amount of approved sales, minus refunds and excluding reversals. This includes:
- Card machine sales
- Payment links
- Online payments
This is compared against your total from the previous period.
Transactions
The total number of transactions for your specified locations and time period. This includes both approved and declined transactions.
This is compared against your total from the previous period.
Average transaction value
The total value of sales divided by the total number of transactions in that given time period. This is compared against the average transaction value in the previous period.
Refunds
The total value of refunds for your specified locations and time period. This includes:
- Card machine sales
- Payment links
- Online payments
This is compared against your total from the previous period.
Sales over time
A breakdown of your sales value over a specific time period, with a running total. The time intervals depend on the time period you have filtered your data by:
- A daily time period shows hourly intervals
- A weekly time period shows daily intervals
- A monthly time period shows daily intervals
Refunds over time
A breakdown of your refunds value over a specific time period, with a running total. The time intervals depend on the time period you have filtered your data by:
- A daily time period shows hourly intervals
- A weekly time period shows daily intervals
- A monthly time period shows daily intervals
Share of returning customers
What percentage of your customers have completed at least two transactions in the past 90 days.
